The Olin College machine shop may be used for personal projects under several conditions:
- You are properly trained on all equipment that you plan to use
- You supply all your own materials
- You do not plan to rely on machine shop staff for completion of your project
- You do not interfere with academic or sanctioned club activities in the shop
- You follow all proper machine shop procedures and bylaws
If you have any questions or concerns about a project you wish to work on, be sure to consult with the machine shop staff first.
